Question 1. “How much does a Tank cost”? Answer 1. “Please see the table below. The price of items varies considerably due to type, condition, completeness and location. I have tried to give a range of prices from restoration projects to very good, near battle ready vehicles with low KMs”?
Question 2. “What are your terms of sale”? A: “Typically we require a 25% deposit to confirm an order for a vehicle, then full cleared payment immediately before vehicles are released -usual methods being electronic transfer or cash. For large sums an ESCROW AGREEMENT/SERVICE can be negotiated for your peace of mind. References can be provided on request”. NB we reserve the right to vary these terms if deemed appropriate. Question 3. “Does it come with Ammunition”? “ Do you sell hand grenades, Napalm or live Machine Guns”? Answer 3. “No! No! No! No!” Question 4. “Can I drive a tank on the road”? Answer 4. “All Ex Warsaw Pact vehicles have all-steel tracks which cannot be used on the road. I do supply large wheeled APCs (OT64 + BRDM2) which are as large as a Tank, and CAN be driven on a road. Remember armoured vehicles generally have poor visibility, and large turning circles – factors to be bourne in mind when considering a purchase”. Question 5. "I've bought a vehicle, now how do I get it home”? How do I safeguarding my financial interests when buying a vehicle from abroad?" Answer 6. “We can provide references to people/organisations who have bought from us in the past. "I live outside the UK Do I need an import licence?-can you arrange this?" Answer 7. Depends upon where you live.- which Country . Generally softskin vehicles do not require an import license. For Armoured vehicles - If you are from the USA Normally an import licence is required-this MUST be applied for by the END USER we can give advice on where, and how to obtain this. Alternatively we have partners in the USA who have some import licences, and may sell you one "off the shelf". Export paperwork from the UK is provided by ourselves.” Question 8. "Can I buy spares from you?" Answer 8. “We generally only supply spares to vehicle customers, or have a minimum order value of £1000. As with western Europe a well established spares network exists. We can source a large number of Czech and Russian vehicle spares.” |
